Deverus — Screening SaaS
Using research and product structure to make a specialized SaaS platform easier to understand and evolve.
My work on the Deverus screening platform centered on understanding users, documenting requirements and translating research into a clearer product experience across both existing and new functionality.
RESEARCH BEFORE INTERFACE
Start with how people actually use the system.
I conceived and conducted user research, interviews and surveys to understand how users interacted with the platform, where friction existed and what they needed from future functionality.
Those findings became inputs to personas, requirements and user stories rather than remaining isolated research artifacts.
TURNING INSIGHT INTO STRUCTURE
Research and requirements were translated into:
- Personas
- User stories
- Sitemaps
- Information architecture
- Wireframes
- Interaction flows
- Prototypes
The focus was on making strategic UX decisions around core workflows as well as new features—creating a product structure that could support adoption while remaining understandable as functionality expanded.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
Understand the gaps before defining the opportunity.
I evaluated competing products across design, functionality and market positioning and documented where the experience differed.
That comparison helped identify UX and design gaps and gave the team a clearer basis for deciding which improvements were simply expected by the market and which could create a stronger product experience.
